Description
The user obtains the World Road Statistics 2021 Excel file as well as access to the IRF Data Warehouse.
The World Road Statistics 2021 Excel file encapsulates road and transport sector-related data for the years 2014 to 2019 (latest six years of data). Data covers over 200 countries and 130+ indicators split into 11 themes such as Road Network, Multimodal Traffic, Vehicles in Use, Road Accidents and Road Expenditures & Revenues.
The Data Warehouse includes the same data as the Excel, plus 50+ additional indicators, on an online platform and allows users access to four types of charts allowing data visualisation and comparison between countries / indicators. The graphs themselves can be downloaded as images, whilst the data displayed in the charts can also be viewed in tabular format or downloaded in Excel. Access to the Data Warehouse remains valid until 31 August 2022 (release of the WRS 2022).
